About the price
What changes the price of a repair
We do not publish a price list, because two repairs that look alike can be very different once the device is open. These are the things that move the price:
The exact model. Parts and labor differ between a recent flagship and an older device.
The part your device needs, and whether we have it in stock.
How far the damage goes. A cracked glass is one job; a cracked glass over a damaged display is another.
Whether the fault is on the board, which calls for micro soldering instead of swapping a part.
Frequently asked questions
What people ask us most before bringing a device in.
How do I find my device's model or IMEI?
On an iPhone or iPad, open Settings > General > About: the model name and number are there, with the serial number and the IMEI (scroll down). On Android, open Settings > About phone. On any phone you can also dial *#06# to see the IMEI. For a quote we only need the model name; the quote form shows where to find it for phones, tablets, laptops, consoles and watches.
How long does a repair take?
Bench time is under an hour for most screen and battery replacements (about 45 minutes for a screen, 30 for a battery), and many are finished the same day, depending on whether we have the part. Charging ports and cameras take about an hour and HDMI ports about an hour and a half; board-level work and liquid damage take longer. We give you a specific estimate before we start.
What does the warranty cover?
We cover the installed part and the labor for 90 days. Batteries and memory or storage upgrades carry 180 days; liquid-damage repairs and service work such as cleaning, system restores and setup carry 30. It doesn't cover new impacts, drops or liquid contact after the repair, or normal battery wear. If the same fault comes back within the term, we look at it again at no charge. Each repair page shows its own term.
What kind of parts do you use?
Quality replacement parts chosen for your model. Before we start we tell you exactly which part is going into your device and answer any question about it, so nothing is installed without you knowing what it is.
When do I pay?
After the repair, when you pick up your device and see it working. The diagnostic is free: if you decide not to go ahead, you pay nothing.
