Why does my PS5 turn on but show no picture?
A bent or damaged HDMI port, or a failing HDMI chip, is a common cause. Try another cable and another TV input first; if the problem stays with the console, we inspect the port and the pads under it and tell you whether it is the port or the chip before any work starts.
Is it worth repairing a PS5?
Often, yes: a port replacement or a fan and thermal paste service usually costs less than replacing the console. We tell you upfront if a repair does not make sense.
