At the bench
A cracked screen is a quick fix. A dead board, a torn-off port or a console that won't power on takes patience, a microscope and a steady hand. That's where we are strongest.
We replace HDMI, LAN, USB and charging ports at component level, so you don't pay for a whole new board.
Devices that won't turn on, won't charge or keep restarting. We find the failed component and repair it.
PS5 and Xbox consoles that run hot, shut off or sound like a jet. We clean, repaste and replace fans.
We open the device, check for corrosion and test each part, then tell you honestly what can be saved.

Our shop is at 4971 N High St in Clintonville. These are the places we are asked about most, and how far each one is.
What people ask us most before bringing a device in.
Bench time is under an hour for most screen and battery replacements (about 45 minutes for a screen, 30 for a battery), and many are finished the same day, depending on whether we have the part. Charging ports and cameras take about an hour and HDMI ports about an hour and a half; board-level work and liquid damage take longer. We give you a specific estimate before we start.
We cover the installed part and the labor for 90 days. Batteries and memory or storage upgrades carry 180 days; liquid-damage repairs and service work such as cleaning, system restores and setup carry 30. It doesn't cover new impacts, drops or liquid contact after the repair, or normal battery wear. If the same fault comes back within the term, we look at it again at no charge. Each repair page shows its own term.
A standard repair doesn't touch your storage, so your data stays where it is. Still, back up before you drop the device off: with liquid damage or board failure we can't guarantee your data.
Quality replacement parts chosen for your model. Before we start we tell you exactly which part is going into your device and answer any question about it, so nothing is installed without you knowing what it is.
No. Walk-ins are welcome during business hours. Booking online or calling ahead is optional, but it helps if your model is uncommon and you'd like us to confirm the part first.
After the repair, when you pick up your device and see it working. The diagnostic is free: if you decide not to go ahead, you pay nothing.
Often, yes. Keep it powered off and bring it in as soon as you can. We open it, check for corrosion and test the board, and we tell you honestly what can be saved before any repair work begins.
Yes, it's one of the things we do most. We replace damaged HDMI ports and fix overheating, no-power faults and ports on PS5 and Xbox, and we handle charging, screen and controller problems on the Switch.
Often, yes. If a device won't turn on or another shop wrote it off, board-level repair and micro soldering can bring many of them back. The free diagnostic tells you whether it's worth it.
No. We use quality replacement parts, and we're happy to explain the options for your model before we start.
About once a year is a good rule, and more often in homes with pets or a lot of dust. Dust inside the console is the number one cause of overheating, loud fans and random shutdowns, and a cleaning costs far less than a board-level repair.
Yes. Drift comes from a worn stick module, so we replace it instead of just cleaning it. That's the only fix that lasts on DualSense, Xbox Series and Joy-Con controllers.
Yes. The network port on a PS5 or Xbox bends easily if a cable is pulled at an angle. We replace the damaged connector by micro soldering and check the wired connection before handing it back.
Often, repairing costs far less than replacing. We'll tell you upfront if a repair isn't worth it for your device, and we'd rather lose the job than talk you into a bad decision.
