Dust, lint and moisture clog the speaker and microphone openings more often than you would think. We clean and test them first, and we replace the speaker or the microphone only if it is really failing.
A phone has several of each: the earpiece, the loudspeaker and more than one microphone. We test every one separately, so you only pay to fix the part that is failing.
Typically about 1 h. Many repairs are finished the same day, depending on the issue and on whether we have the part. We give you an estimate when we quote.
This repair carries a 90-day warranty on the installed part and the labor. It does not cover new impacts, drops or liquid contact after the repair. If the same fault comes back within that time, we look at it again at no charge.
