A Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, Switch OLED, Switch 2, Steam Deck or ROG Ally that will not power on or charge usually has a failed component on the board rather than a faulty cable: a charging or power chip, a damaged USB-C port or a broken trace. We start with the simple checks (charger, cable and battery), then open the console and measure the power rails under a microscope to find the part that failed. We replace only that part, so the whole board does not have to be written off. Before any work starts we tell you what we found and what it takes to fix it, and afterwards we test power, charging, the screen and the controls.

This repair carries a 90-day warranty on the installed part and the labor. It does not cover new impacts, drops or liquid contact after the repair. If the same fault comes back within that time, we look at it again at no charge.
