The HDMI port is one of the most common failures on PS4 and PS5 consoles, because a bumped or angled cable can bend or loosen it. If you get no picture, a flickering signal, or a cable that only works at a certain angle, we inspect the port and the pads under it. A damaged port is replaced by micro soldering without disturbing the rest of the board, and we test video output before the console goes back to you. If the real problem turns out to be the HDMI chip instead of the port, we tell you before any work starts.
